Profile:
After the Macquarie Era the following children were born to Catherine and William:-
William born 2nd October 1831 at Airds, N.S.W.
Mary Ann born 27th July 1833 at Campbelltown, N.S.W.

Catherine Makesay was 18 when she was sentenced to seven years transportation for vagrancy.
Her behaviour aboard the Edward is recorded to have been “very bad”.
Catherine married a ticket of leave holder, William Bursill, in 1832 and bore him two children, William b.1831 and Mary b.1833.
Although she lived in Campbelltown she returned to Parramatta shortly before her death in December 1833, aged 24.
