Status: Convict.
Occupation: Farmer.
Died: 10th July 1869 at Limestone Flats, N.S.W.
Buried: 12th July 1869 at Bathurst, N.S.W.
Married: Sarah Cracknell in1805 at Sawbridgeworth, Herts., England.
Father: George Drake.
Mother: Mary.

Profile:
Prior to the Macquarie era, they had the following children:
Mary Ann born 1805 at Sawbridgeworth, Herts., England.
Elizabeth born 1807 at Sawbridgeworth, Herts., England.
Samuel born 1809 at Sawbridgeworth, Herts., England, died on board the Northampton in 1815; buried at sea.

During the Macquarie era, Daniel and Sarah had the following children:-
Sarah born 1812 at Sawbridgeworth, Herts., England; died on board the Northampton in 1815; buried at sea. 
Sarah born 7th July 1816 at Lower Minto, N.S.W.
Susan born 20th September 1819 at Lower Minto, N.S.W.
Matilda born 14th October 1820 at Lower Minto, N.S.W.

They also had the following children born after the Macquarie Era.
Amy/Amelia born 28th August 1821 at Lower Minto, N.S.W.
Emma born c.1825 at Lower Minto, N.S.W.

Daniel's wife Sarah followed him out to the colony on board the Northampton together with 4 of their children, MaryAnn, Elizabeth, Samuel and Sarah. Sadly 6 year old Samuel and 3 year old Sarah died on board the ship and were buired at sea. Sarah arrived in Sydney on the 18th June 1815 with her remainding 2 children.
