Profile:
Prior to the Macquarie era the following child was born to Jane and John Kennedy:-
Mary born 1808/1809.

Jane was convicted at Bristol Assizes in August 1808 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. By 1811 she was living with John Kennedy but in the
1822 General Muster she was in Government employ at Newcastle. In the General Muster List of NSW 1823, 1824, 1825 she is listed as Jane Mitchell,
wife of William Jones of Newcastle.
