Before the Macquarie era Joseph Maund was tried at Salop on 16 January 1789 & received a sentence of 7 years – Matilda also tried at Salop Q S , Peace & Gaol delivery for Town & Liberties of Shrewsbury, 16 January 1789 (sentenced to some of His Majesty’s Colonies or Plantations abroad) for 7 years***
He appears to be the father of William J Cutler 1800
