Prior to the Macquarie era the following children’s baptisms were registered at St Phillip’s Church of England, Sydney and recorded Mary Adams as their mother:-
Eliza Adams baptized c1810.
Charles Adams baptized c1814.

Note that it has not been proven beyond doubt that Eliza and Charles are Mary’s children; however Mary is listed in the 1814 Muster as being free, off stores, a widow with 2 children.

Mary Adams was tried at Portsmouth Boro of QS on 6 Oct 1803 & received a sentence of 7 years.

In 1815, she married William Tristram at St Phillip’s Church of England, Sydney, N.S.W. and is listed in the 1823,1824 & 1825 Muster as the wife of Tristram living at Liverpool. No children have been found from this marriage.

Recorded in the 1828 Census, Mary Adams or Mary Tristram, is listed as aged 45, Free by Servitude, Protestant, wife of William Tristram (Guildford 1812) Keeper H.M. Gaol, Liverpool, N.S.W.

Mary Tristram died in 1862 at Liverpool, aged 80 years.
