Mary was tried at the Lent Assizes at Warwick, trial started on the 24 March 1806. However, no records for the Midland circuit survive prior to 1818.

The 5th April 1806 Warwick & Warwickshire Advertiser  states that Mary Connor, Martha Gregory and Maria Hines were sentenced to transportation for seven years for stealing cotton belonging to  F. Ridley and others at Birmingham.
