During the Macquarie era, Priscilla was born on the 5 June 1815 and her birth was registered at St Philips Church of England, Sydney under the surname of Tuzo.

After the Macquarie, Priscilla is listed in the 1828 Census as Priscilla Tuzo being 12 years of age, a lodger of Rebecca Goulby living in Kent Street, Sydney, N.S.W.

On the 19 March 1832, Priscilla at the age of 16 married John Baylis/Bayliss, her marriage was registered under the surname of Golsby at the Church of England, Abercombie District, Bathurst, N.S.W.

A son, John was born to Priscilla and John in 1838.
