Married: Prudence Perkins in 1806 at Hornchurch, Essex, England.
Died: 7th February 1845 at Windsor aged 88.
Buried: cFebruary 1845 at St Matthew's Windsor, N.S.W.

Richard was convicted of burglary at Essex Assizes on the 17th March 1814 and sentenced to transportation for 14 years. He received his Certificate of Freedom on the 27th June 1828.
In 1825 he petitioned the Governor to bring out his wife and two daughters. They left London in 1829. Prudence fell ill and died in Horbart Hospital. His daughters, Mary Ann and Sarah,
travelled to Sydney to join their father and arrived on the 27th Deember 1828 aboard the Borneo. MaryAnn married Thomas Joseph Williams on the 22nd June 1829 at St Peter's Church,
Richmond whilst Sarah married John Adams on the 17th July 1830.
