During the Macquarie era Samuel Clift was tried at Northampton Assizes on 15th July 1817 & received a sentence of 14 years. He was from Oldham Warwick, a Wakeman, aged 27 – Tol 2706***

After the Macquarie era Samuel was on a return of grain in the possession of settlers and other private individuals in the District of Bathurst on 11 October 1824###
