Occupation: Soldier, Land Owner and Boat Builder. 
Died:  17th Decenber 1836 at Sydney, N.S.W.
Buried: 20th December 1836 at Devonshire Street, Sydney, N.S.W.
Married:
Ann Griffin on the 12th May 1800 at St Phillip's, Sydney, N.S.W.

Prior to the Macquarie era, they had the following children;-
Lydia, born 9th May 1806 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.
Maria, born 14th December 1808 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.

During the Macquarie era, Thomas and Ann had the following children;
William, born 9th February 1812 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.

James, born 26th September 1814 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.
Ann, born 2nd May 1817 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.  
Nathaniel, born 24th November 1819 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.  

They also had the following children born after the Macquarie Era:
Martha, born 22nd May 1823 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.
Sarah, born 9th April 1826 at Sussex Street, Sydney, N.S.W.

Thomas was arrested at the age of 15 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He survied the trip from England to Australia on the death ship, Neptune on which many of the convicts died.

  In the 1828 New South Wales Census Thomas is registered as a boatbuilder living in Sussex Street, Sydney
