Died: 22 February 1881 at Agnes Banks.
Buried: February 1881 St Peter's Church of England, Richmond, N.S.W.

Father: Samuel Freeman.
Mother : Elizabeth Smith.

William was murdered by his brother-in-law, Robert Williams on the 22 Feruary 1881 at Agnes Banks in what became known as The Agnes Banks Murder.

At his trial on the 9 May 1881 at the Central Criminal Court Robert Williams was found to be insane, he was ordered to be confined during his Excellency's pleasure.
